Soft Pretzel Making Directions:
1 lb Soft Pretzel Mix
1.5 tsp yeast
3/4 cup warm water
OR
8 lb Soft Pretzel Mix
1/4 cup yeast
6 cups warm water
Mix yeast in warm water, let set 5 minutes. Add warm yeast mixture into pretzel mix, knead for 5 minutes. Cover and let rise untill double in size. Punch down, form pretzels or sticks. Place on greased baking sheets. Dip formed pretzels in solution of: 5 tbsp baking soda & 2 cups warm water. sprinkle with pretzel or kosher salt. Bake 7 minutes at 450 degF. Or experiment with other tasty toppings, i.e. cheeses, fried onions, apple & cinnamon, etc.
Ingredients: Blended flour and brown sugar.
