Saffron Jasmine Rice has a mild butter flavor with a touch of onion, garlic, black pepper and a generous amount of saffron to make this unique rice blend irresistible. No preservatives, artificial colors or flavors are added to this rice making it a great compliment to Oriental, Central American and Continental cuisines.
Basic Recipe
1 cups water
1 cup rice blend
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add rice blend. Return to a boil, stir, cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Stir, remove from heat, keep covered and allow to steam for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. Makes about 4 servings (3/4 cup each).
