For centuries the drinking of Aloe Vera has been a daily ritual in the Dominican Republic and other countries all over Latin America. Sabila Monte Cristi Aloe Vera juice is prepared in the traditional method used by Dominicans for generations.

Sabila Monte Cristi Plain is made only from the pure inner fillets of mature aloe leaves. Hand filleting immediately after harvest insures the the gels' freshness and minimizes the bitter latex material (Aloin), found just beneath the rind, from getting into the inner gel.

The entire process from harvesting to extraction is performed by hand. Harvesters only cut the healthiest, mature leaves from the Aloe Vera plant. No more than three leaves are harvested at a time to insure the health of the plant.
