California Honey Apricot is an award-winning, best selling, fabulous blend of tart pureed dried California apricots and sweet honey.

A specialty made from two local products, honey and dried apricots, both produced very close to Woodland, CA and unique to Moonshine Trading, is their honey spread. Made from local honey and golden dried apricots, it has that appetizing zing of flavor from proper apricots and the smooth character of being combined with multifloral honey. For a breakfast toast topping, ice cream topping, or eaten with a spoon out of the jar, this is a lovely, delicious product.

Each of these fruit spreads blends easily with cream cheese, sour cream, yogurt, ricotta cheese, and even ice cream, and make a wonderful glaze for poultry.

In the golden rolling hills outside of Winters, California, Blenheim apricots grow sweet in the late spring when a beautiful creamy pink-orange color indicates that they are perfectly ripe. These apricots are sun-dried in the open air, pureed and ground, and then folded into our finest northern California Spring Wildflower Honey until we achieve the perfect balance between sweet honey and tart fruit.
