Directions: Take one to three capsules daily between meals, or as directed by a physician. L-Tyrosine may be taken in conjunction with vitamins and minerals. Do not refrigerate. Do not take with dairy products.
Use Cautiously: 

• When used in individuals with abnormal heart rhythm, as supplementation with high doses of tyrosine (>500mg) may cause heart palpitations or arrhythmias, or in those using cardiovascular agents, according to human studies. 
• When used in individuals with blood pressure disorders or in those using agents that affect blood pressure, according to human studies in which systolic blood pressure decreased some participants while heart rate and blood pressure increased in another human study. 
• When used in individuals with hyperthyroidism or Graves' disease, as tyrosine is used to make thyroxine in the body and theoretically, supplementation with tyrosine may increase thyroxine levels in the body and may worsen symptoms. 
• When used in individuals susceptible to migraine headaches, as tyrosine may act as a trigger. 
• When used in individuals with gastrointestinal disorders or symptoms, as high does supplementation (>1000 mg / day) with tyrosine may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gas, or heartburn. 
• When used in individuals with diabetes or in those taking antidiabetic agents, as supplementation with tyrosine may increase tyrosine levels in individuals using diabetic medications. 
• When used in individuals taking MAOIs, as tyrosine may cause a hypertensive crisis in these individuals. 
• When used in individuals using antianxiety or stimulant agents, as administration of L-tyrosine may result in overstimulation, restlessness, anxiety, or insomnia.
• When used in individuals with seizures, a tyrosine deficiency may trigger seizures.
• When used in individuals susceptible to skin cancer, as tyrosine may promote the division of cancer cells.
• When used in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, due to a lack of information.
