PROTECT YOUR BODY
Don’t compromise your health for healthy “looking” skin Conventional lotions and creams are filled with petrochemical and petrochemically processed ingredients that can compromise your internal health in the long run. There are phthalates in synthetic fragrance; those mess with your endocrine system. There are formaldehyde precursors in thickeners and emulsifying agents; those mess with your hormonal balance. There are parabens and other preservatives; those are tantamount to spreading antibiotics over your skin, wiping out both friendly and unfriendly bacteria, leaving your skin exposed and unprotected.
To make matters worse, they add chemical penetration enhancers, which drive all of those chemicals deeply into the body and blood stream. The list goes on…. What a mess! Rest assured you’ll find none of these scary monsters in our USDA Certified Organic Body and massage oils.

How to Use
Moisturizer: Apply to skin after showering or bathing.  For a lighter application, apply it to wet skin.  For a thicker application, apply it to skin after patting dry. Either way, the oils will lock in the hydration, protecting it from dehydration until your next bath or shower.  Lotion never lasted so long.

Massage: Apply to skin as a medium for massage.  The fresh oils provide enduring slip.

Trillium Organics was founded in 1994 by Karen Ciesar, when she traded up from an attorney to educating and providing women with safe, non-toxic personal care options.  After watching both of her grandmothers fall prey to cancer, she hoped that her own children could enjoy a healthier life from making healthier choices. One small problem, in 1994, Organic personal care was an unheard of concept, and the toxic dangers of conventional personal care were not very well understood.

Starting with Calendula infused, Baby Bottom Balm, she set out on the quest to create a clean safe product that would replace toxic body wash and lotion.  It took three years of bathing in everything organic from coffee grounds to oatmeal that resulted in Organic Body Polish.  That first product that "does it all", remains the cornerstone of the company.

Today, they're still a small company of dedicated women, still making each product in small batches and pouring them each by hand.

We dream of a world in which Organics and sustainable agriculture and production is the norm, and conventional petrochemical farming and formulation is remembered as an ignorant mistake.
