Cedar (Cedrus) is from the foliage of cedar trees, and has a fresh and woodsy aroma. White Sage (Salvia apiana) is traditionally known for its sweet fragrance and slightly stringent aroma. Blue Sage (Artemisia Powis Castle) has a fresh, light fragrance similar to lavender, and its aroma is not quite as strong as white sage. They’re often used in ceremonial practices for cleansing, purification, and protection, or simply for their pleasant aroma.

Smudges are known to purify places, objects and people. Burn and allow smoke to purify any surroundings or simply enjoy the wonderful aromas.
