Sea clay is useful for use on oily skin. It is thought to remove acne-causing toxins from the skin and revitalize tired skin.

Sea Clay, also known as Dead Sea Clay, is a product that originates from The Dead Sea, located in Israel. It is the lowest place on Earth, and people would visit the area to bath within the waters. Those waters are known for the healing effects in the salt and mud. The product on the market has high levels of magnesium, potassium, sulfate and calcium, making it great for your skin.

Common Uses:

Facial masks -- The uses are very similar to other living clays such as bentonite and kaolin. Applied directly to the face, the clay will absorb impurities and leave your skin feeling tight and clean. Massage gently into the skin, allow to dry and then rinse off with warm water.

Fibromyalgia -- Consult with a physician before using for fibromyalgia. Alternative health practitioners use it to fibromyalgia.*

Acne -- Apply a paste to acne infected areas will help treat and clean the area. Rinse off after it dries.

Sealant -- Outdoor areas such as ponds, dams and ditches can be sealed using the product. It will prevent toxins and waste from dripping into the area being used.

Crayons -- The clay is used in making crayons and binding the ingredients together to make a strong colorant.

Drilling -- When mixed with other ingredients, the product is used in a drill string for the oil and gas drilling industry.
