To make tea , add 1.5 to 2 grams of crushed flowers to cold water and boil. Strain after 10 minutes.
For a tea from the plant's leaves, pour about two-thirds of a cup of boiling water over 3 to 5 grams (about 2 teaspoonfuls) of the herb and steep for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

The usual dosage of both the flower and the leaf is 5 grams daily.
