Forest Blend is a combination of Shiitake, Porcini, Oyster, Bolete, and Wood Ear mushrooms. This blend has an earthy yet savory flavor and pairs perfectly with light meats and fish. It can also be used in sauces, soups and casseroles and makes a delicious addition to Oriental stir-fry recipes.
Preparation: To reconstitute mushrooms, rinse well under cold water (wildcrafted mushrooms may contain pebbles or debris), then place mushrooms in a bowl, cover with boiling water and soak for 20-30 minutes. Or add to a dish that will cook for at least 20 minutes. Drain the mushrooms and enjoy.
