This traditional blend of exotic spices from Southern Asia can stand all on its own. Chai has become increasingly popular, well known for its delicious warmth and satisfying variety of tastes. On a cool winter’s day, enjoy this yummy classic piping hot with cream and sugar. In the summer, try it over ice for a refreshing treat.
Ingredients: Cinnamon, Ginger Root, Cardamom Seed, Allspice, Cloves, Black Pepper. Caffeine-free.
Brewing (makes about 11-14 cups): Add 1/2 cup Chai with 7 cups of water. Slowly bring to a boil. Add sweetener to taste and continue low boil for 5-10 minutes. Stir and let steep for 15 minutes. When satisfied with flavor you may now add black tea, 1 tsp per cup, if desired. Add additional sweetener if desired. Let black tea steep in chai 4-8 minutes. Strain and add 4-7 cups of warmed milk until desired taste is achieved. Enjoy!
